The wait is over. Six games this weekend feature teams that finished last season in the top ten of most power rankings, which means Week 1 is doing a lot more work than it usually does.
The early storyline everyone’s watching: whether last year’s surprise playoff teams can prove it wasn’t a fluke, or whether the league snaps back to form fast. A few rosters changed enough over the offseason that Week 1 might tell us less than usual — but that’s never stopped anyone from overreacting to it.
